Let’s be honest. Many aspects of fashion are hurting the environment and buying a little less would be no bad thing. All we would say is that we believe the case for beautiful, quality clothing designed to last remains.
The construction of our jodhpurs is based on a pair that have endured over 60 years – and are still going strong. Manufactured in one of the most reputable factories in England from high-quality materials all found in the UK, they are far from fast fashion.
As for Auld Friend itself, we’re focused on only producing one garment in small production runs so there’s as little waste as possible. We’re doing the best we can but know we’re not perfect yet. Still: we’re starting in a good place – and we’re going to get better.
